Photojournalism: Remix

For a recent assignment I asked my students to shoot a remix of a classic photojournalism shot. They really impressed me by staging shots that captured not just the lighting of the original but also the feeling. They are a hard-working group of 7th and 8th graders. They are only allowed to shoot manually and must adjust their shutter speed, aperture, and iso. Here are three of the bunch that were handed in this week.
