8-2 YELLOW worked on their light paintings again today. They had a chance to review theirs as well as the other classes photos from their first session before getting started. It was good to see some new ideas and learn how they were made as well as learning from our mistakes.
Today I had three cameras set up on tripods. We used the Manual setting and switched the shutter to “Bulb.” This allows the photographer to leave the shutter open indefinitely. I found two articles that explain how to switch to the bulb setting on a Nikon and a Canon.
I also found this video explaining the science behind light painting.
