Art 6 has been working on a Digital Photography project. Students are assigned to manually create a panoramic photo of a location in or around Allendale Columbia. They use their iPads to photograph the place. Then they use Google Drive to move the photos from their iPad to the iMacs in the Digital Art Lab. It is a great way to introduce students to layers in Adobe Photoshop. This exercise helps them become aware of the Move Tool and the Layers Palette. Students then save a jpg file which flattens the layers and allows them to distort their photo into a “Tiny Planet.”
Come back next week for the results of our Tiny Planet Assignment.
