The sixth graders have been working on a project for International Dot Day. Art 6 spends a unit each year on digital photography. I am always looking at new ways that we can experiment with Adobe Photoshop. Students always have a lot of fun messing around with Hue, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, and Filters. I like to teach them this introductory lesson on distorting and image using “polar coordinates.” This year it just so happened that we are celebrating International Dot Day during the digital photo unit.
