Hearing Color a TED Talk

Artist Neil Harbisson (go look at his portfolio site http://eyeborg.wix.com/neil-harbisson) was born completely color blind, but these days a device attached to his head turns color into audible frequencies. Did you know that we are having a TEDxAllendaleColumbiaSchool event next month?

On February 2nd, 2013, one hundred people will be coming together at the Allendale Columbia School to further their understanding of the world we live in. As a TEDx event, or independently organized TED event, this will be accomplished through a combination of live speaker presentations, live performances, and pre-recorded TED videos. Being one of the first TEDx Youth events in the Greater Rochester, New York area, we are looking to find passionate people who are willing to share a unique experience relating to our theme — connections.
