Extreme Materials 2

My students are incredible, passionate, creative people. I don’t know if I say that enough. Last week I was reminded of this again. I was asked to showcase my students work at the opening party of Extreme Materials 2 at the Memorial Art Gallery.

The work displayed was a collection from a project last year called Sustainable Improvements. Students were assigned the problem of creating something to improve some aspect of society using primarily recycled materials. Five of my students created garments using recycled materials after being inspired by the Fiber Arts International Exhibition last year at the MAG.
