One Fish Two Fish

For this lesson we read One Fish Two Fish by Dr. Seuss. First we folded our paper and drew a fish in the wacky style of Dr. Seuss. We talked about creating a symmetrical shape by cutting on the fold. Next we colored in our fish, and stapled around the edge to create a pocket. This was stuffed with newspaper, sealed with staples, and added to our extra large aquarium right outside the classroom.
