Jack and the beanstalk is a really fun story for kids to learn about. We watched a video that told the story and brainstormed a list of things that students would like to find at the top of their own beanstalks. Each student was given a bean that they glued at the bottom of their page. They then drew a variety of lines using crayon to represent their beanstalk. Along the way they drew items that they would like to find on their beanstalk.

"the giant's pants are on upside down"

"there's a zebra at the bottom of my beanstalk"
